Bonnie joined Bedford United Church in December, 2001 as an Administrative Assistant.  Born in Halifax she grew up in Waverley where as a young girl, she started working with the public in her parents' grocery store.  Bonnie has two children, Kimberley and Adam.

Her background also includes working in the Insurance industry and with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice.  She is known for being friendly and cheerful and likes working with people.  She enjoys working with the congregation of Bedford United Church and her days are often very busy working with such a large congregation.  She can often be heard saying "no one would ever believe working in a church office could be this busy!"

Bonnie is proactive and likes making changes for the better.  She believes people are "either part of the problem or part of the solution."

In her spare time Bonnie likes to read, attend workshops and book clubs and enjoys socializing with her many friends.
