Music Ministry Information
Singing or playing an instrument on a church music team is a wonderful way to build Christian friendships and deepen your faith through close involvement with holy texts, sacred lyrics and worship. If you have a gift of music or would like to explore your yet-to-be-revealed musical talents, one of our music teams may be the place for you:

The BUC Choir:
  • Open to singers and instrumentalists of all levels and ages
  • We focus on harmony singing and a special emphasis on traditional hymns and modern church music
  • Rehearses Mondays from 6:20 – 8:00 p.m.

Celebration Singers:
  • Open to singers and instrumentalists of all levels and ages
  • A focus on harmonies, percussion and varied instrumentation
  • Rehearses Tuesdays from 8:00 – 9:15 p.m.

ReGenesis:
  • A youth music team with a focus on being a band and not a choir (therefore, limiting the number of singers)
  • Open to guitarists, drummers, pianists and bassists in grade 8-12
  • Open to singers in grade 9-12
  • Rehearses Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Spirit Rising:
  • An adult music team focusing on small group singing and a strong rhythm section
  • Open to featuring guest soloists of any age (not presently open to new full time members)
  • Rehearses Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:55 p.m.

TGIW Children’s Worship Team:
  • TGIW (Thank God It’s Wednesday) begins each week at 4:45 with social time and supper provided by dedicated volunteers.
  • At 5:30 Children in grades 2 – 6 practice singing, acting, dancing and play games while adults have a time of sharing and community building (children in grade 1 and under have child care provided)
  • The program ends at 6:15.

All teams focus on engaging the whole church in spirited, sacred singing.
