Rev. Jennifer Power was born and raised in New Maryland, New Brunswick. Jen describes herself as being "raised in the church" and values the role that her local congregation played in her development. A graduate of Atlantic School of Theology in 1997, Jen has served The United Church of Canada in two previous pastoral charges and in a variety of youth ministry roles for Maritime Conference and the General Council.
Jennifer has a vested interest in ministry with children and young families as she and her spouse Michael are parents to Sam (14), Ben (6), Joe (3) and Matt (2). Upon joining the staff here at Bedford United Church, Jen feels like she has adopted 80+ more children and is thoroughly enjoying ministering with and to them. Jen’s focus and passion both at home and here at BUC is for her children and helping them to become who God created them to be.
