Stewardship News
Stewardship is what happens when Christianity goes through a person’s heart and gets into the moving parts of the body.
Oh how Spirit moves us!
The week of Nov 18th our donations were $ 9,670.40
(PAR $4685.44/Envelopes $4709.00/Loose $275.96)
This met our regular operating expenses of $9,679.50

Also this week, our awesome Teens United, under the inspiring leadership of Jen Thomas, created and rode on a brightly lit and wonderfully decorated float in the Light Up Bedford Parade.
Thank you for representing us so well in our community!
A ‘LENS OF GENEROSITY’
A spiritual practice for the life and work of the church
Have we
† seen God’s gifts to us?
† lived from gratitude and generosity?
† worked from an attitude of abundance?
† and sensed God’s grace?
Bedford United Church Stewardship Vision:
At Bedford United Church we envision an ongoing Stewardship Program where our annual operational needs, everything from paying our utility bills to ensuring we have the right staff in place providing the programs for our spiritual community, is met with the generous offerings of our members.
We envision an ongoing Stewardship Program where special ‘fundraising’ events are held to create a ‘capital savings account’, ensuring we are able to be responsible stewards of our facilities, everything from keeping them in good repair to potentially transforming them to a ‘greener’ condition.
